Playfulness in the Classroom
Play is life.
In these fun, interactive and fully immersive workshops we bring play and playfulness to life in a whole new way.
In over 10 hours of contact time, in this 4-part series of workshops, we will delve into the foundations of play, the key benefits and princples and most importantly it’s place in education, no matter the age or stage of a child.
All of this is underpinned by key concepts such as; neuroscience, attachment theory and more, to shed light on challenging behaviours in the classroom. Focusing on how we can work towards supporting students emotionally, socially and academically as well as, eachother.
This hands-on experiential workshop is intended to be used as an initial introduction to our definition of play and how it can easily be transferred and integrated into the academic curriculum.
Our main aim is not only to give teachers an insight into the world of play within the classroom, but also empower them to take the first few steps towards creating that fun and playful environment where true learning can take place.
Full details can be found in our ‘Programme Handbook’ upon request.
*All our workshops are experiential and supported by the latest, evidence-based research.
